Captivate 8 video closed captioning timing out of sync

Hello,

I'm trying to close caption a 30 minute long video for a training course. I put the transcript in and I adjust the captioning timers in the video editor. The video is inserted as multi-slide synchronized. When I play the captions in the video editor, everything lines up fine. When I preview the project the captions are out of sync by seconds pretty much from the beginning of the video. What did I miss.
