Hello,

Is there a time limit on how long a video demo will record for in captivate?

Thanks,

Steve

I don't really think there is a time limit. I have a couple of video demos on YouTube of about 5 minutes. I don't believe that very long videos for training are very efficient.

The answer is... based on your computer's RAM, hard drive space & network configuration.

So, be prepared to test in your environment to get an actual understanding of your systems capabilities.

BTW, if capturing a live event, you really should plan for an alternative means of captureing, like recording to disc or tape, then moving the captured footage into Cp.

    Thanks for the reply Lilybiri,

While waiting for a reply, I used the Video Demo feature to capture a 30-minute training video we only have a link for (unable to access to the original video file). Although time consuming, the video recorded and published without issue.
