Captivate 9.0.2.437 voice level drops

Captivate 9.0.2.437 voice level drops while recording, i updated the application still no luck.

While doing auto calibrate it just drops on windows 7. this only occurring while being in Captivate 9 application?

I never use Auto Calibrate. I always test initially with the microphone setup to find out what the level needs to be set at (watching the reading on the meter) and then keep it at that level. Turn off Auto Calibrate.

For my usual podcast microphone (a Rhode Podcaster) the ideal level is 1. For a weaker headset mic with a smaller diaphragm you might need to set the gain to 3 or 4.
