Captivate 9.0.2 Update - Editor Lagging

Is anyone having a lagging problem with the Captivate editor after installing the update?  It seems like there is a momentary lag after certain actions, almost like the editor freezes for a second before completing a task.

Is anyone else having this problem?  If so, has anyone found a fix to this?

    The suggested fix was:

    There are various things that could be causing the slow or sluggish performance. After the update, make sure you complete the following steps as outlined in the release notes for this update.

    You may also want to clear out your cache.

    To clear your cache, with Adobe Captivate running but no projects open...

    1. Click Edit / Preferences (Shift + F8)
    2. Click on the General Settings category
    3. Click the Clear Cache... button
    4. Click OK

    This will delete unneeded files remaining on your disk from previously opened project files (they will get recreated when you work on these projects again).
