Captivate 9 and photoshop files

I recently installed Captivate 9.  In reviewing new functionality I see that you can add psd files.  I have those files from Digital Juice but do not have Photoshop installed.  In the slides it looks beautiful but when published the area is red.  Is that because I do not have Photoshop installed?

    Photoshop roundtripping is available since many versions, not a new feature at all. Did you import the file as flattened of different layers as images? How big is the file?

    When publishing, do turn off all compression settings.
