Captivate 9 and SWF Files

I was given several SWF files in a zip folder.  I open them and they launch what looks like an animation of a course.  I'm trying to get them into my Prime LMS.  I try to upload/import and create modules then courses but these files won't work.  Even the zip file isn't working.  Others have sent me zip files with lots of non swf files in each one.  Imported right into Prime with no issues.  Why is the swf file giving me trouble.  Mac user with Captivate 9 and Prime. Newbie so be specific. THANKS!

SWF (by itself) is an invalid format for Adobe Captivate Prime.

If all you have is a zip package full of SWF files, you likely need to unzip the package and upload the SWF files independently. But that's just a guess on my part. A LMS usually needs other information from what I understand. And that's likely what's inside the other zip files you upload.

I'm confident others will chime in here to offer more detailed advice.

Cheers... Rick

Exactly what I thought....several others have sent me zip files with 10+ files in each.  All required components for a module, video, audio, test...An easy upload into Prime and modules were done.  These swf files are just like videos of the course, nothing else. So I even tried to just build something in Captivate 9 using the SWF file as a video file, no go still.

Even if you don't need reporting, a LMS expects to have a package which includes in the case of SWF output: a htm file, a CSS and a JS file. SWF is no video, sorry, it is an interactive format.
