Captivate 9 Auto Calibrate No longer working

Hi everyone, 

While creating some video lectures with Captivate 9 the audio recording stopped working.  It worked perfectly for one slide, but the next it was extremely muted.  I've tried several different microphones, without any success.  When I re-calibrating with the auto calibrate function it seems like Captivate barely registers the audio input.  The "Checking Input Level" bar doesn't register audio unless i literally yell, but then states the "Input Levels Ok".  Any advice or trouble shooting?
