Question

Captivate 9 Closed Captioning overflowing into the texture area

Has anyone seen this happen?  The CC is set for 3 lines but on one slide it over flows into the texture area.

I've not seen this before and it doesn't do this on the other slides with excess text.

Is the text by chance cut off at the end? If so, have you tried moving the synch line a few words or to the beginning of the previous sentence? I know that happens to me from time to time.  Hope this helps.

The issue isn't cut off text but that the text is set to be 3 lines but it overflows the three lines and then goes into the texture area at the bottom.  So far this only happens when publishing in HTML5 so I'm wondering if that has something to do with this.

Thanks for the suggestion and what do you mean by the synch line??

synchlineThe synch line . . . I'm not sure of it's official technical term with Adobe . . . but that's what I call the yellow line that appears on the audio line where the CC breaks from one caption to the next.
