Captivate 9 - Correcting recorded typing errors

Is there any way to correct words that were misspelled during a recording session?  For example while recording a Demonstration project we misspelled "element" backspaced and retyped the word correctly.  Is there anyway to edit the typing in the timeline to remove the error and backspacing correction to make it look like the error never happened?

You can replace the typing object by a text animation which can be edited.

Do you publish to SWF? I believe text animations are not supported for HTML.

So the actual answer is no, typing cannot be corrected. Unfortunately, I have to emulate text being added in a UNIX program and I can't find a close font in Captivate.

Creating the ability to modify typing, without having to go through the rather laborious process of creating animated text, would be a REALLY nice addition to the next version of the program.

I know you may THINK that adding your wishes here (and in bold type to boot) will make a difference, I have to tell you that the only chance you stand of Adobe taking note of this is to log your enhancement idea in the form page provided on the Adobe website.

If you REALLY think it matters, take the time and log the request.  But don't hold your breath...
