Captivate 9 Course Freezes in LMS

My Captivate 9 course will not play on my LMS. It freezes and will not load. I have another course that was built using Captivate 9 that works just fine and it was published under the same parameters. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Hi all,

I figured out the problem. I had an apostrophe in the Project Title when I published it. When I removed the apostrophe, it worked perfectly.

Thank you all for your time and help. I learned a lot.

Have you double checked the LMS, SCORM and project size and quality settings?

I find 'Advanced Project Compression' especially troubling for our LMS, make sure that is disabled.

Thanks for your response. I have looked at the settings and they conform to the LMS. I also tried your suggestion for deactivating Advanced Project Compression. Unfortunately, that did not solve the problem.

I tried launching it in via the "Preview in SCORM Cloud Option" with the same result.

I tried a SCORM tester and it did not indicate any errors that would cause this. In fact, the course that works has the same IMSMD error.

For additional information, some of my slides are imported PPT slides. When I wanted to create more from the template, I would duplicate slides in the option in Captivate to edit via PPT. I would add content in those blank slides directly in Captivate.

Other thoughts? I'm almost at a point of starting over.

Try setting the Preloader in Preferences/Project/Start and End at 100% if it's not already. This will force your project to fully load into the client memory before starting. If your problem is a buffering issue this might solve it.
