Question

Captivate 9 Echos in Audio

We've tried recording audio and also using speech agents but we are still getting an echo on certain slides?

Has anyone else experienced this and solved it?

Also, we are having the closed captioning not appear on all slides even thought the CC checkbox is selected in the slide notes.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Susan

Did you check the Audio Management panel? Check the option to show object audio as well. Maybe you'll find the same audio clip to be used twice?

You may have the audio attached to the slide as well as an object on the slide and this could be causing your echo.

Simply selecting the CC checkbox is not all you have to do to see Closed Captioning.  You may need to check the timing of the CC lines coming in on the slide.  If the timing is not synched properly with the audio, you may be missing bits.
