Captivate 9 Editing View

Question

I recently had Captivate 9 installed. Under the View tab (please see below) I have no option to show Rulers. Also, I'm not able to insert Guides. Is there "some switch" I need to turn on? Thanks much for any assistance you may be able to provide!

You probably are still on the first version of Captivate 9, version 9.0.0.

Guides and Rulers were added with the first patch to 9.0.1. I wrote this blog post about them:

Meanwhile a second patch is released, we are now on 9.0.2.

Do not forget to read the release notes: before installing a pathc you have to Clear Preferences and to delete the Layouts folder in Public Documents under Adobe\eLearning Assets.
