Captivate 9 - emailing quiz results

I feel like I am beating a dead horse. We haven't decided which LMS to go with so in the interim we would like to just manually track our employees training/testing. We only have a little over 100 employees so it shouldn't be a labor intensive undertaking. Our old testing software (created by a company now that now sell insulated windows) allowed employees to enter their name and it saved a txt file in the directory of the test. They would print this out and submit it manually. So we are a couple of decades behind when it comes to LMS.

Is there a way in Captivate 9 to have the test taker simply enter their name (or use their local login) and email the test results (via smtp) to our training mailbox?

there used to be a way to do this in older versions of captivate.

as per this thread, that was removed somewhere around captivate 6:Re: Email quiz results

it's disappointing because we do not have an LMS and we are not allowed to store employee records outside our firewall.  we actually build a web based quiz on the intranet and create a link to that.
