Captivate 9 Free Files Are Downloaded but won't launch?!

I have been able to download the free version of Captivate 9 on my home computer and work computer and neither of them are allowing me to launch the program.  Is the download credible.  I wanted to test before requesting that my state department order it. Thanks.

Do you have Administrator rights to your systems?

I can understand that a work computer would not allow you to install it. Most work stations are locked down from allowing users to install their own software, however you should have no problem installing on you home PC. 

 

What type of message are you getting when attempting to install the software? What operating system are you using? Have you downloaded all the required files?  For Windows there will be an EXE file plus a zipped up archive file as well. Both are required.

If you got the free trial version directly from Adobe.com then they should work fine, I know these sound like simple question but did you:

1. Download the correct version for your systems(Windows or Mac)?

2. Does your system meet the minimum requirements (in case of windows it has to be 64 bit OS)

3. Do you get an error message when you try to launch? If so what is it?

Troubleshooting is a process and this is generally how it starts
