I am having an issue with captivate freezing each time i click an image in my project. this was working fine yesterday. the project is on my local c drive and i have 145Gb to spare, so i dont think its RAM.

i checked task manager when this happens, nothing really unexpected going on there.

difference is that yesterday i was using internet at work and today i am at home. are there files that i think are local that are not?

does the library connect to sometihng that could be slowing this down.

please help, this is driving me nuts!

    Hi Chsp,

A few clarifying questions for you?

    1. Is it one particular image, or any image you click on?
    2. Are you accessing the project via internet on your work drive Or did you access the project files on your home drive from work, via the Internet?
    3. When you say click, do you mean in preview mode, or when you are actually working in Captivate

    Cheers

    Steve

Started off as any image, but now it's anything, e.g., text caption or button etc.

I am accessing the project from my hard drive each time, both from work and at home

I am in Captivate workspace, not preview

I am also running as admin when I start Captivate if that helps

I don't get why this wasn't happening yesterday. Has there been a new release or something?

thanks for any advice you have

Check the paths in Preferences, General settings: what are they set to, both for Publish at and Project Cache.

BTW I think you don't talk about RAM memory but about space on your HDD or SSD.
