As Lieve says, Captivate gives you the option to set slides in the filmstrip to Hidden so that they will not be published in the output.

But if you are just wanting to have a lot of slides in your project and you are just seeking a way to de-clutter a little bit and move around your project more easily, then you can put two or more slides into a Slide Group and then collapse the group.  This still allows the slides to all remain in the published output, but it then only shows one item for the entire group in the Filmstrip and can make it easier to navigate around for editing purpose.

I quite often put all my Quiz slides into a single group, or if I have a number of sequential slides that all deal with a specific topic area within a single module, I might choose to put all of them in a single Group.

Why? Can you explain more in detail?.Hidden slides in filmstrip will not be

included in the published course.

Basically, we are trying to make slides fold ito a filmstrip.

Then group the slides, and just collapse the group.
