Captivate 9 javascript error: this.m_state is undefined

Hello! We're developing a custom LMS and have noticed that quizzes published with Captivate 9 seem to be generating a Javascript error. We didn't have any difficulty with Captivate 7 or 8 so it's confusing why 9 would be causing this error. I've included a screenshot to illustrate the exact error message we're seeing in Firebug. I'm using a trial version of Captivate 9 on Windows 10. The LMS is SCORM 1.2 compliant however I haven't ruled out a possibility that the LMS may be contributing to the problem. The quiz doesn't load the initial slide, the error occurs as the quiz is initializing.
