captivate 9 Knowledge check/quiz slide will not read by JAWS

I'm currently struggling with JAWS not allowing a user to find the submit button after they have picked a radio button on a multiple choice slide. Seems like either the submit button is not accessible or just does not work with JAWS. Does anybody have a solution to a knowledge check multiple choice slide that when I publish and preview in Firefox or IE with JAWS 16 or JAWS 17 I can manage to tab or use the up/down arrows to navigate the slide question and answers but cannot figure out how to get JAWS to the submit button or have JAWS read the submit button.
