Captivate 9 linking to a published captivate file not working

I've created a link to another published Captivate 9 file. But, when i go to preview or browse preview, there is a slash in the link that is being removed and the link is not working:

In the project: C:\UsersName\Client\capEx\early_Out_Full_Day_Abs.htm

When previewing: C:\UsersName\Client\capExearly_Out_Full_Day_Abs.htm

Why is the slash being removed?

Thank you.

You cannot use a backslash in a name.

Why are you using absolute path to link to another file?  Normally I would expect a relative path.

I'm not using a backslash in the name! When I click the folder icon to link to the file, this is the path. I'm not choosing to make this absolute, Captivate is. My questions is why is it removing the backslash when publishing? Also, why is Captivate choosing the Absolute Path if it's correct to have a Relative Path? That means clicking on the folder icon to choose the file to link to is not functioning as is should.
