Captivate 9 (Mac) - Advanced Actions: Apply Effect Parameters Resetting

I'm working with a project in Captivate 9 under OS X 10.10.5. In the Advanced Actions window, when I tweak the action sequence and then hit "Update Action", I'll receive the popup notifying me that the action was successfully updated, but if I go back and look at the effect parameters within the action steps (clicking the "..." button), about 90% of the time, I will find that they have been reset back to their default values. Usually, I have to go through several rounds of correcting and updating to get the values to stick. This happens with both default effects (such as "AlphaFromTo"), and custom effects that I have added.

As far as I can tell, this is a bug, and it's driving me crazy! Has anyone else encountered this?

Update: After more digging, I found a hotfix update here (updates Captivate from 9.0.0.223 to 9.0.0.230). This may be useful to somebody else, since it was hard for me to find, but it DOES NOT fix my effect parameters issue.

Hi,

Is the issue with all your projects or a specific one? Is it an upgraded project or one created from scratch in Cp 9? You can share your project with us through some shared workspace and send the link to mdas@adobe.com so that we can investigate the issue

Thanks
