I have been working with a contractor who uses a Mac. He can open the Captivate files I send him, which were created on my PC, but I cannot open the files he created on his Mac. Does anyone have a solution?

The likely solution is to make sure you are both running the same version number of Adobe Captivate. For example, let's say you are running version 9.0.2.437 and I'm running version 10.0.0.192. I will be able to open files that you created with version 9. If I make a change to these files and save them, they become version 10.0.0.192 and these files will no longer be compatible with your copy of Adobe Captivate. In your case, one of you needs to either upgrade or the other needs to downgrade if they have a license for an early version.

Are you sure to use exactly the same version? Check the full version number please. Since he can open your files, he could be on a later version than yours.
