Captivate 9 - Motion Paths do not work

Hi!  I have the trial version of Captivate 9 - 9.0.2.437 and I have inserted motions paths (left, right) in some of my slides.  When I publish them and view them in SCORM (or on my computer), they do not work.  This is disheartening.

I saw in another post that the motions do not work if shortened.  So, what is the length of time that the motions will work, if they work at all?

What are the Adobe techs doing about this.  This technique works beautifully in Storyline 2.

Thanks,

Norma

What do you mean by 'shortened'? Are you talking about the duration of the motion effect, and if yes, how much did you decrease that duration?

How did you test? Do you see the motion when playing the slide, when previewing in Browser or HTML5 in Browser (if you talk about a normal project)? Or is this a responsive project?

Can you please show screenshots of how you have these motion effects set up?  My guess is that you may not have done it correctly.  But until we see more detail it's not possible to tell.

Here is a screen capture and the issues are highlight in pink.  This is not a responsive project.  Normal - it will be viewed on the computer.

    Thanks.

I don't see any reason why this is not working. You didn't answer my question about testing?

The timeline isn't complete, are there any interactive objects (they have a green timeline) outside of the timelines that you showed in the screenshot? Can you check the On Enter action for that slide: No action is OK, but not 'Pause'.
