Hi,

I have a project that includes an interactive button.

When I publish to MP4 output, the interactive button does not work. Is there a work around to make the video pause until the user presses the button?

Thanks

Shéba

MP4 videos are NOT interactive.

If you want the video to stop at a given point and wait for user interaction, your easiest solution is to cut the video into two parts. One before the pause and the other from that point on. Place each video on a separate slide.  Place the button on the first slide so that the user can click it when ready to move to the second slide and resume the video.

Thanks for your prompt reply Rod.

Based on your solution, I might just ask the user to press 'Pause' on the video play bar because  the user has the option to press that button on more than 3 slides as the simulation progresses.

Maybe Pause is the faster way to do this otherwise I have to cut 4 videos.

It's just a bit frustrating that I have to spell it out to the user to press the Pause button, I assumed everyone knows how to watch a video without having to explicitly be told to use the Pause button if they want to stop the video on certain frame.
