Captivate 9 on MAC and PC

I would like to use captivate 9 on mac and pc but I can't open my file saved with captivate on mac when I am on pc, can somebody help me please ?

    Please verify the exact version numbers under Help, About Captivate.

     

    I have collaborated on projects with a Mac user, while I am a Win user. But we used exactly the same version (full number is required). I don't know for the most recent versions of 11.5 about their compatibility because Mac uses another version number.

    Sounds like the versions of Captivate are not compatible. Which exact versions of Captivate do you have on each machine?

     

    You cannot open a project file if it is created on a later version.  Captivate is not forward compatible.
