I installed Captivate on an HP Envy server and on my Dell laptop - both running 64-bit Windows 10

On the Envy server it runs perfectly but on my laptp it crashes with a Windows firewall error - see screen dump.

Ive tried to Allow Access and even switching off the firewall but to no avail.

I even tried re-installing and it didnt work. Help someone   !

    Hi devadzanayai,

Get the new copy of CivetWeb.exe by either emailing to tcssup@adobe.com OR I can send you one. Place that in this location and replace the old file: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 2017 x64\SWF_Components\ws

Also, check that these endpoints are not being blocked by Firewall (Add them to firewall whitelist, if any are blocked):

    ccmdls.adobe.com:443
    ims-na1.adobelogin.com:443
    na1r.services.adobe.com:443
    prod-rel-ffc-ccm.oobesaas.adobe.com:443
    lm.licenses.adobe.com:443
    cmdl.adobe.com:80
    swupmf.adobe.com:80
    wupdl.adobe.com:80
    activate.adobe.com:443

Many thanks - the firewall problem has disappeared.

BUT there's a new problem and I'm not sure if its related to our solution or it was just waiting in the wings to pop out once the top one was removed.

    New Captivate problem
