Captivate 9: powerpoint animation displaying for preview in broswer but not on scorm cloud

Running Captivate 9.0.2.437 on MacOS 10.12.3. Currently have what I thought was a finished captivate project. I created the content in powerpoint at a clients request, with all of the animation. I started a new captivate project from MS Powerpoint and then imported some questions in GIFT format. All works as I want when I preview in browser through my localhost, however when I preview on scorm cloud, the animation does show and each slide is flat, with no animation. For slides that build more, only half the content shows, like the animation has stopped half way through. Ultimately the file will be exported to SCORM 1.2   a n d   hosted on the companies bespoke LMS.

Have you tried seeing how it runs on a regular website, outside SCORM cloud? You'll see an error message at the start that it can't connect to the LMS but you can click Cancel and continue.
