Captivate 9 Quiz buttons: I can't get rollover and down animations to work.

My buttons on the quiz pages do not show rollover or down events. The buttons work, but the user has no indication (visually or sound) that the button was clicked. This is only on quiz slides. If I change the buttons to the default transparent button it still doesn't work, but both styles work on non-test slides. I have tried modifying them in the  Object Style Manager, but this didn't work either. I have created new courses for testing and it still doesn't work. I have tried launching in different browsers. I have searched for anything regarding the behavior of quiz buttons, but I haven't found anything. Any help? Thanks.

The default style of quiz buttons in that theme has no states.

It is impossible to use shape buttons on quiz slides, maybe I was no clear, which is a pity because they are much easier to format. That is why I suggested to replace the transparent button by image buttons. You can choose one of the available image buttons, but you'll need one for each type of quiz button because image buttons have no possibility to change the label which is in the image. You can create custom image buttons, you need three images (png is fine) with same name followed by _up, _over, _down.

Which theme are you using? The Quizzing button style depends on the theme. Some of them have states, others don't. However there is not any interactive object that has automatically a 'clicked' state. The normal states for buttons and shape buttons are Normal, Rollover and Down. Those are not animations, but states. You cannot use shape buttons on Quiz slides, but you can try one of the Image buttons (they have states).

Thanks for your response. I understand the difference between states and animations. Sorry for using the wrong term.  I am using the default "white" theme. I am not using shape buttons on quiz slides.
