Captivate 9 Quiz - Multiple Questions, but need ANSWER only one question

Hello,

The course have several quiz questions, but student need to answer only one of the quiz questions with score and completion passed to the LMS.

The issue we are having is that Captivate recognizes all the quiz questions, which understandably is throwing the LMS scoring off.

Here's our setup

After the student completes a section, they are directed to 1 of 8 specific questions. That is the only question they need to answer for this course.  Each question is assigned in this manner.

Is there a way to disable or ignore the unanswered questions?

Any other setup ideas?

We have tried multiple configuration with no success.

Is there a way using advanced actions to disable all unanswered question not selected--just thinking.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE:

I set all question points to zero and removed the number of question reporting from the results screen.

Is there an online site to test Captivate SCORM Pkgs?  I use to use Rustici.

This can be done by using the Branch Aware feature available in Quiz Preferences. Have a look at this blog post explaining the use and limitations of this feature:

If you cannot cope with the limitations (navigation), here is another possible approach:

Do not attach a score to the question slides at all, but provide a scored button at the end of your course, that has to be pressed before finishing the course and has the unique score attached to it.
