Captivate 9 "Record device demo" not working on macOS Sierra 10.12.1

I have tried at least 5 times to record my iPhone 7 plus screen but it is not working. It shows the device is connected but the device does not show up on the screen and when I stop the recording Captivate force closes. The screen capture is below:
