Captivate 9 Repurposing: Resolution Issue

I would like to repurpose a Captivate 9 project (1280 x 720) to display on a 46" LCD. The only specs I have for the LCD is that it has full resolution of 1080p and that it is connected with a HDMI cable.

Have tried rescaling my original project with various settings (presets and custom), but so far have not found one to display the closed captions at the bottom.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

You need both width and height in pixels for the big screen, or at least the width/height ratio: probably 16:9?  Which side is 1080px?

1080 pixels is usually the height of a full HD screen, which means the width will usually be 1920 pixels.

However, it's not usually a good idea trying to build e-learning for these exact dimensions.  You may run into issues with slow loading due to excessive file sizes.  You may need to remember to allow room for playbars and the toolbars on the OS as well as browser chrome etc.  So there are a lot of factors involved in the final size of your projects and in many cases you may not have control over those factors. Some types of content may not go this big anyway.
