Captivate 9 responsive project crashing on mobile

I have been searching for a few days now with no luck regarding why my Captivate 9 responsive project crashes on mobile.

I have found many posts in regards to file size/image size. I also have seen many posts stating make your images exact dimensions or SVGs. Here is the problem, the course is responsive and contains photos. I can't make exact dimensions if the dimensions are going to be changing across break points. I currently have either the height or width at 100% of the stage (the images are sized to match the largest of these dimensions). I originally imported jpegs at a pretty low file size. Thing is, Captivate seems to be outputing them as pngs in the package. I tried pngs as well but the file size on those images is quite large, trying to accommodate each mobile break point.

If I remove a module or two, the package functions fine on our local server on mobile, which is why I'm suspecting an overall size issue. This course is not a long course and I'm struggling to figure out why the entire project continuously crashes on mobile.

Note* It works fine on desktop PC and Mac.

Thanks in advance for any help...

**Update, the crashing seems to only be an iOS issue.

If this IS an issue due to the mobile devices not having enough resources, then reducing the size of your content would be the only way to resolve it.

You mention it's an "iOS issue".  Can you be more specific?  Which version of iOS?  Which specific iOS devices?

This course is not that large. It's currently 31 slides which is on the average to low side of projects I've worked on in the past.

As for iOS, latest version on iPhone 7 as well as latest on iPad. I've tested on earlier versions of the iPad as well with the same issue.

Then there may be some specific object or slide in your project that is triggering this issue.  You may need to experiment with hiding groups of slides and republishing to see if you can isolate the specific slide or object that seems to present the problem.
