Captivate 9 responsive very slow performance

Hi,

we are using Captivate 9 in order to produce a responsive course with 5 breakpoints. The project has 52 slides and the performance. Every time one sets a property in the properties panel, Captivate reacts very slowly, it takes up to 2 minutes to set a simple property such as font colour or to re-position elements.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it a common issue with five breakpoints and the number of slides?

Be sure to clear the cache regularly, to run Captivate as administrator, never to use an networked drive (or external drive) for the projects you are working on and maybe, clean the Preferences once in a while. The minimum system requirement you'll find in the official documentation is much too low but that is usual for all software (too bad).
