Captivate 9 SWF Internet Explorer will not close at end of module

So we have some old remote technology

As a back-up to the html version that employees can view on tablets I have published to SWF for retail PC's using internet explorer. Some are still using Windows 2000!!!

Issue 1 is not so bad - the fonts get lost when employee enters their name. I have used Ariel as web-safe but this is IE after-all - I can live with this

Issue 2 is bad. The final slide has a click button to 'Exit' the module. This is in the button properties = exit.  On internet explorer this simply hangs (or fails) the only way colleagues can exit is to shut internet explorer (X top right of the window) not a great experience. This is happening also on Windows 7 machines so I think it is IE rather than windows.

Does anyone have experience of publishing for internet explorer and using the exit command?

Appreciate a work-round

Correct answer TLCMediaDesign

Put a clickbox on the last slide so that it pauses before it reaches the last frame. It should work then.

We also have a free swf/widget on our website that does this.

I've never had a problem using any exit in CP with IE unless the timeline reaches the end on the last slide in a swf.

Can you try putting the exit button on the first slide and see if it works there.

can you explain how the last slide timeline should look

at the moment all content on the last slide runs the length of the timeline (3 seconds)

could be something simple - but it works fine in html5 on tablets - is the puzzle
