Captivate 9 Test not reporting properly in LMS

I created a test in Captivate 9 and uploaded it to Success Factors. The test runs great and reports properly in the LMS using Scorm 2004 4th edition. When I try and copy that Captivate program and make changes to it and then upload it to the LMS under a different name the test runs great but the report is messed up. Has anyone run in to the same issue? I have a work around and just create tests from scratch but I should be able to copy and rename. Thanks in advance!

There are names and identifiers in a number of different places in a SCORM course.

Did you also consider that you might need to change the unique IDs of the Interactions (e.g. quiz questions) so as not to confuse the LMS?

Perhaps the LMS is seeing duplicates of the Interaction IDs and that's what's messing with the reporting.

Thanks for the quick response! I think you are right on the duplicates because ti is looking like it is pulling data from other tests. Can you explain where I would go to change the Unique ID's in Captivate?

At the bottom of the Quiz tab > Reporting section.  That's where you find the Interaction ID for a quiz question.

If you open the Advanced Interaction dialog (Project > Advanced Interaction) and scroll down to the quiz questions listed, you can see all of their properties at once.  Select one on the list and the Edit window will then show properties of that question.  This makes it a little easier to change the values, but hopefully one day Adobe will make it possible to edit them all right there in the dialog again.

The easiest way to ensure the same set of questions in multiple projects always have unique IDs is to add a prefix that tells you which module they belong to.  That way, even it all the numbers are the same, they will still be unique in the LMS because they all have module prefixes that make them differ.
