Captivate 9 to Captivate 2017 Conversion Stability

Hello, all.  Just a quick question that I'm hoping someone has the answer to.

My company has many projects (SCORM, primarily) that are in use.  If we were to upgrade to Captivate 2017, has anyone experienced any best practices/road blocks to assure feature stability from one to the next?  I really mean for when content updates need to be implemented (i.e. Drag and Drop, etc.).
