Can text to audio be created in the video or does this need to be inserted prior to creating video?

Yes, I am in video cpvc. Can I go back and add the text to speech?

I always record my VO, never use TTS. This is my work flow, maybe it can help:

I record the video, while speaking the text I will insert later on after having recorded it in Audition. Reason is to have video movements timed almost to the audio.
I record the audio, you could replace that by creating the TTS.
Then I replace the temporary audio by the final one.
