Captivate 9 - video importing from PowerPoint

Question

I have a video that I am trying to utilize PowerPoint to bring into Captivate. The video in PowerPoint I have sized down, have it set to auto play and rewind once done. When I import into Captivate it does not play, any idea why that is? I even added time into the timeline in Captivate to cover the video time.

Please, if you want a PPT converter, us a plugin that is meant for that: iSpring, Adobe Presenter or Articulate Presenter. Captivate is an eLearning authoring tool, and PPT import is certainly not its best feature.

If you want to insert a video in Captivate, use the Media, Video button. You can insert as event video, which means it will play independently of Captivate, or as multi-synchronized video which means you can control it by Captivate.
