Captivate 9 - want to display text when hover over shape, but also jump to another slide on click

I have searched the forums in every way I can think of and can't seem to find anything on this, although I know there must be. Please point me in the right direction.

I'm using Captivate 9. I have a slide on which there are two things: a shape marked with "use as button" and a text caption. I want to display different text when hovering over the shape. But I also want to be able to click the shape and jump to another slide.

I can't figure out how to use an advanced action since there need to be two triggers - a hover and a click.

Is using a rollover layered over a click box the only way to do this? Thanks

Why don't you just turn on the Hint caption for that Shape Button and put the text in there that you want to appear when the mouse hovers over the button? That would work.

    Rod,

Such a simple solution! I don't know if I would have thought of it.

It doesn't completely solve my issue. (I want the "different text" to actually replace the original text. I didn't put that in my question...) But I think I can work around it by making my hint caption white and positioning it over the other text.

    Thanks very much!
