Question

Captivate 9 will not install on El Capitan !?

The installer initializes, I get the Sign In screen and sign in, I accept to the Software License, I type in my Serial Number and the default install begins.

At 4% complete, it appears to get stuck and the time remaining only increases....

Can someone at Adobe confirm that the Captivate installer will not work on El Capitan?

Thanks

I'm having the same issue!!  Going to try and quit and install a couple of times.  Frustrating as hell..

Can't even quit out of it.

As I mentioned before, still the same today: I didn't see yet that Captivate got a patch to make it compatible with El Capitan.

    Hi there,

I seem to have the same problem as well. 4% stuck for ages and not progressing at all. Can someone from Adobe help?

El Capitan is not mentioned in the supported OS, was released after CP9. Same for Win10: will not support Captivate 8, only Captivate 9.

It seems that I managed to install it after all. I had to quit the installer twice and restart the process. In the end, it worked. I now have CP 9 with El Capitan

But it was very frustrating to do this. Adobe has to keep up with all systems that are updated all the time!
