Captivate 9 won't publish with mouse object on slide

I have tried multiple times to add the mouse object to simulate an action on my project, but when I publish, it hangs on the swf part of the publishing. If I publish HTML5 only, it works. When I do swf only, it hangs and crashes. As long as I don't use the mouse object everything is fine and it publishes without a hitch. However I need that in there to teach my students. Any suggestions?
