Captivate Assessment is ignoring my added image

Hi,

I use CS3.  I just finished my first Assessment where participants need to do data input.  I added an image to the Assessment as a guide to what they need to input.  The image runs the length of the slide where applicable with no transitions BUT when I run the Assessment the image is not visible.

Will Captivate prevent me from adding an image to show on an Assessment?  I would appreciate anyone's thoughts on getting my image to be visible.

Thanks,
Sherrie

    Hello again

Looks like you did just fine with posting the image.

I'm not seeing anything glaringly obvious that would cause it not to show. You mentioned earlier that you are using "CS3". I'm guessing you meant to say Captivate 3?

As an aside, based on what you described in the first post I fully expected to see the timeline for a question slide. But this appears to be just a simple slide.

The only other thing that comes to mind is to perhaps try converting the image from PNG format to a different format and attempt to insert it again. Personally I use PNG for all my images and have no issues. But I think I've seen others here report varying levels of issues with PNG. It probably all depends on what you used to create the PNG to start with.

    Cheers... Rick

    Hi Rick,

I am not sure you will be able to read this.  I am posting to test it.  This is my first time posting to the forum so if there are any tips on posting images please let me know.

    Hi Rick,

You are a GEM!  I should have known better than saving my images as a PNG (especially becuase my company is still on IE 6).  Changing them to a gif worked exactly as I originally anticipated.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Hi there

Can you post a screen capture here (Please use the camera icon to post it) so we might see your Timeline for that slide?

    Cheers... Rick
