Captivate Classic | "Preview > Play Slide" not working

I've set my preferences to play 5 slides when I want to quickly preview an edit.

However when I select Play Slide I only get the slide that I am on playing. How can I quickly preview my next 5 slides or whatever setting I set in Preferences? I haven't used Captivate in four years ... has this function been removed/changed?

Thanks for any help!

Well there have been a lot of changes lately, so I think for your captivate version the  5 slides preview option is not available anymore, you have to preview the complete proyect instead.

As you said, the preview slide only works for the slide you're currently viewing but you can preview the completely project and use a play bar to move quickly between slides until you find the one your are looking for.

If anyone have some other tip, I would love to hear it too.

... Ouch this hurts ... what a time-waster this is.

I hope there is a solution.

Well, the new captivate solve this problem previewing the slide starting from the one you have selected in the filmtrip, but for the Classic Captivate users well... it is a little more time consuming, and I don't think they will correct this as the main focus is their new version.

So, good luck with your project!
