Captivate Closed Captioning Issue

Question

My slide has a multi-slide synchronized video with closed captions and slide audio with closed captions. I've programmed it with the slide audio starting at slide onset and the video is hidden until the user clicks a button. (The slide audio pauses when the multi-slide video shows.)

My issue: The video closed captioning starts (even with it hidden) while the slide audio plays. Any solution to make the slide audio play first or only start the video CC once it's unhidden?

Since I never used such a scenario myself, I can only offer a workaround: instead of hiding the video and showing it by a button click, put the video on another slide and use the button to jump to that slide.
