Captivate course not tracking Completed in LMS

Hello Everyone,
I'm in desperate need of help! I'm a new user to Captivate and have run into an issue with one of seven learning modules created for a course. Module 2 is not tracking as Completed in the LMS. I have double-checked several times to make sure all the settings & configurations for all seven modules are the same. They are!

The only difference in content is that Module 2 has a great deal of flash objects, more than three times that of any of the other six modules. Module 2 does not have any question slides, where as all but one of the other modules does. I mention this because when attempting to get technical support all they did was ask about question slides.

I've run the debug mode for this module in the LMS and also for Module 1, which is successfully tracking as Completed. What I've found, in comparing the information from debug mode, is that Module 2 is not being initialized. The LMS hosting provider is telling us it is a courseware problem and isn't helping to find a solution. I've compared the HTML files generated by Captivate from the publish process and they are exactly the same, except for the module naming.

I have no idea what to do from here, and I'm under a great deal of pressure to find a solution. This is the first course I've authored using Captivate.

Thank you for any help.
Charlotte

Is there anything in Module 7 that is tracked? It doesn't *have* to be a
question slide. It could just be a button...

    Erik...... You Are an Angel!!!!
Thank you so much!! You have helped in resolving this issue!! Our modules are not using native Captivate buttons, but we are using click-boxes on certain slides to stop the auto-forward to allow users to complete a task outside of the module before proceeding. You pointed me in the direction to compare the click-boxes in Module 7, and low and behold there were several that had "Include in Quiz" under the "Reporting" tab checked!

BTW, I also inserted a questions slide in Module 2 with the exact same settings and configurations in the other successful modules. And it did track to completion successfully!

Once again.... Thank you so much!!

Support probably kept asking about question slides because Captivate
largely depends on question slides being present in order to know
whether to bother initializing the LMS.
If Captivate does not see anything that needs scoring (mostly via the
Quiz Manager), then it won't bother trying to talk with an LMS, since it
doesn't think there's any tracking to do.
So the easy answer is to put in something that specifies it needs to be
tracked. Any buttons at all in your course? Just set the tracking
options for any given button and score it as 1 (or 100?). Check the Quiz
Manager settings for anything that may apply and try it published...

    Eric.... Thank you for the suggestion. :smile;
I will add a question slide as you suggest, publish it and test it in the LMS. Just so you know, Module 7 in the same course with the same settings is successfully tracking to Completed but doesn't have any question slides either.
