Captivate crashes when trying to edit objects

Question

Hi,When trying to change shape, colour, font etc of an object the program just loads and loads forever, or until I force quit the program... It seems similar to this issue Adobe Captivate 2017 crashes What can be the issue and how do I solve it?Kind regards,Matilda

If you are on Windows, do you Run Captivate as Admininstrator?

Is this a clean install of CP2017 and are you on 10.0.1.285? Do you clear the cache regularly?

Can you clean the Preferences? If you have administrator rights, close Captivate, look in the installation folder for the subfolder 'utils' and run the CleanPreferences... file appropriate for your OS.
