Getting the following error at the end of PPT import.  It parces thru the entire deck, then when it jumps from 50% to 60% the following error is thrown, wat could this be or how could we start troubleshooting this to find the root cause?

Try importing only part of the slide deck.  Just select groups of 10 slides to import at a time.  That may narrow down where the issue is.  If the issue is actually resources on your PC then importing smaller groups of slides will alleviate the issue.

Does Captivate keep a log file tracking the last slide it was trying to import before the crash so it would be easier to identify.  The deck is over 40+ slides, and some of these could be more and with animation within the slides the amount of time it takes (hours sometimes) its highly time consuming.

It might have a log file but I have no idea where to find it.  But more to the point, by using my suggestion of just importing 10 or so slides at a time you could have easily found the issue by now.  Why wait days to find an easier method when there's one available that would get you home in several minutes?
