Question

Captivate export dumping frames

I have tried to export a Captivate 1 file to Flash several times and it will only export the first 30 frames. I tried Cap1 to FlashMX2004 and Cap2 to Flash8. I have also tried deleting frames. If I delete the first 30 frames, it exports nothing. Does anyone have any experience with this problem, or a solution?

Hi gilesrulz

This would seem to indicate that only one second of your project is being exported. So my own mental question here would be to ask: What is happening in Captivate at that mark in time? For example, is the Captivate project you are exporting only consisting of a one second splash screen followed by nothing but question slides? If so, this would probably explain things, as I don't believe question slides survive the export into Flash land.

Does this happen with any project you try with or only one?

Cheers... Rick

Thank you. It was a question slide that was causing the issue. It is odd that it would just truncate the rest of the movie. Oh well. Thanks!
