Captivate file size too big - videos

Hi,

I have a Captivate 9 project that is approx 70 slides (low-no interactivity), with five 1-3 minutes videos in it. The videos are embedded as 'event videos'

It's 1,900 000 KB in size and too big. I'm having trouble uploading it on SCORM.com or sending via FTP site, even as a PDF output. I tried reducing the video size to 720p from 1080p..

Is there a way to reduce the size of the Captivate file? How can I resolve this?

Hi Avassi

If I'm reading this correctly the problem isn't with Captivate, its with the video. Five 1- 3 minute videos should not equal 1.9 GBs of data unless its shot in 4K or imported as an AVI or maybe Quicktime format. I would re- render or convert them as an MP4 format or host them on YouTube or Vimeo and link them. That should solve your problem.
