Hello everyone,

I’m an Adobe CC premium member and I’m interesting to buy Adobe Captivate but I'm not sure it can be really what I need.

How can I customize the graphical interface of the Adobe Captivate slides with others Adobe softwares?

I mean, can I integrate this software with adobe Edge Animate for example? In particular within Javascript and jQuery code snippets I would know.

Thanks in advance for your help

There are several ways to customise thee look and feel of your courses in Captivate.

You have

  • Themes
  • Styles
  • Master slides
  • Templates
  • ETC..

There are some deep integrations between Captivate and Photoshop. For more info, please readt my blogpost at https://elearning.adobe.com/2016/08/photoshop-and-captivate-are-the-best-friends-in-the-world/

As of Edge Animate and Animate CC, you can package your animations as .oam files and import those .oam files in Captivate.

One thing that you cannot really do in Captivate though is integrating with jQuery / JavaScript. While there is a JavaScript API available, Captivate is not really a developper tool like Dreamweaver is. You don't really have access to the code in Captivate. Sure enough, there are ways to tweak it, but it is not what Captivate is designed for. Captivate is more on the Muse side of the force than on the Dreamweaver side of the force.

I hope it helps.
