Do I only need a Captivate license to develop elearning assets?  Or do the people that use the assets that I developed also need a Captivate license?

    s a developer you need a license. You publish the Captivate file to the wanted output (probably to HTML5), then upload it to a webserver or a LMS. The learners watching the output will need only a browser and access to the server or the LMS.

      If I have a month license, will my output published HTML5 still expire?

      If it is NOT a trial license, the output will never expire.
